The largest companies learned long ago, Thermographic inspections save them money. Both routine Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMI) and Quick Inspections for process, delivery or manufacturing prevent waste and downtime. Determining increased drag or constrictions in piping, drag on conveyer belts from frozen bearings, heat loss in refractory applications and many more will save your money and increase production. The uses are endless.

Every process needs or produces heat. Too much and it leads to failure or increased cost. Too little, as in loss of refrigeration or insulation, means increased cost from product spoilage or manufacturing loss. Let us walk with you and determine where you might save your capital.

Heavy loads on electrical components become extreme quickly. A 4 degree C rise over the ambient temperature at 10% load can increase to a 100 degree C rise at 50 % load. With the number of connections in modern processing, random sampling provides little security.

Surveys should be made prior to equipment being accepted. Proper installation and operation isn't insured by newness.

Scheduled downtimes should be considered. If we can examine your operation, we can locate any additional failing components needing replacement.

Heat is Money

Making it, Keeping It, Losing It costs you real dollars

Finding heat loss areas of your residence and repairing them is the cost efficient way to energy savings. Our high definition FLIR camera has 20 times the resolution of a standard handheld IR camera. This allows us to give you accurate, detailed, photo quality images you can use to improve your energy use.

Insulation

Even the best contractors may miss areas, under apply or leave spaces which cost you money. Numerous areas of small gaps will undermine even the most expensive roof or insulation repair. Solid Foam insulation is especially vulnerable. Un-taped joints, failure to adhere completely or too long nails can undo an otherwise effective, and expensive, installation.

Plumbing

Persistent water leaks can be expensive to find. We can detect and isolate them for fast repair. Trying to find buried pipes in walls and floors or finding leaks in radiant floors and driveways and walkways can be a very difficult and time consuming. We can quickly find them allowing repairs with minimum disruption and cost.

Electrical

Especially in older homes, aluminum to copper connections are a concern as are overloaded circuits.

Water Intrusion

After a water leak, drying out walls and ceilings, carpets and floors is critical. We can generally uncover areas where there may be any remaining water, determine paths of entry and provide evidence for your insurance claim.

Equine

In the 1980’s thermographic technology was in its infancy. Images were indistinct and there was little software to evaluate the data. Nearly 30 years later, Flir has developed a true high definition camera and the advanced software to analyze the data. Long used in the Horse Racing World, the technology is now available for ranch, stables and individual owner.
